Request for Assistance - Meetings and Training Venues

Fellow NE-ISSA Members,

We are in need of assistance from those of you able to host/sponsor meetings, training sessions, and other special events during 2008 and 2009. We currently are planning for the year ahead. As such, we are seeking locations around the greater Boston/128/495 Belt to support the geographic diversity and rapid growth of our membership (over 275 members currently). Our goal is to host bi-annual training sessions in addition to the four Quarterly meetings.

Our immediate need is for 2 locations in 2008 that can accommodate 30-50 attendees for educational events, with an Audio/Visual setup (screen, microphone, projection unit), ample parking and the ability to provide refreshments. We are seeking to hold the 1-day educational events in April (15, 16, or 17) and October (15 or 16) If you have meeting space that you would be willing to donate to the New England ISSA Chapter, please contact education@issa-ne.org , at your earliest convenience. The Chapter will pay for refreshments.

To those of you that do not have a facility to provide, but would like to sponsor/contribute by paying for the refreshments, please let us know that as well.

Additionally, we are looking for locations for 2009 general meetings that can accommodate 100 attendees, with ample parking and the ability to provide refreshments. We are seeking to hold the meetings in January, May, July (Chapter BBQ - all day), September and November (Annual Meeting/reception). If you have meeting space that you would be willing to donate to the New England ISSA Chapter, please contact vp@issa-ne.org , at your earliest convenience.

Our ongoing ability to provide valuable programs and increase the number/content of the training sessions we offer is greatly enhanced by your support, participation and feedback.
